Armor shelves are both decorative and useful to put your armor on it so you can get it faster instead of opening the chest. However, Minecraftâs armor rig is pretty boring and monotonous, so the creator of the Armor Stand Configurator mod has developed his idea of turning these stands into âmannequinsâ with moveable hands and legs.
The mod comes with a customizable armor stand interface with many settings like stealth, zero gravity, no pedestal, no hands, and even the positions of the limbs.
Equipping sword for the stand to make it look more like a human (can be used to scare the enemy).
There are also mini stands whose sizes are half of the normal ones.

I've recently gotten into modding Minecraft and thought that my first released mod may be something that provides wings with the functionality of those from Terraria (Hold space to fly up for a limited time after which you can't fly up until you touch the ground. At this time the wings, instead, provide a slow fall).
Minecraft Custom Armor Mod 1.7.10
So far I've added the items, recipes, etc. I've decided to use and I have my first set of wings as an armour, however, as I have not set a texture they show up as the pink / black checkers. What I actually want is for there to be a different model used- the custom one I made for the wings known as
Resting.java but change to Flying.java whilst in the air.
My problem here is that I don't know how to get rid of the default armour model and use my one. Also I'd like to be able to actually add functionality (the flying, gliding, etc.) which I don't know how to do but I'll save that for another question.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and if you need me to post any of my code, just say so. I don't know what would be needed.
I'm currently editing Minecraft Version 1.6.4 using the latest release of Forge.

The answer is probably simple, and not the one I want to hear because it is a lot of work.Say I have a custom race of 3 fingered, horned hobbits, complete with their own textures and meshes, that sit neatly inside their own little .esp file. Say I also have a mountain of custom standalone armor mods I have downloaded that I would like this race to be able to wear. I'm no expert at modding, but what I understand from a few days of messing about with the CK is that each of the new armor items has an ArmorAddon item which lists what races are able to wear said armor (essentially what allows the model to show when it is equiped to them). When both the race .esp file and the armor .esp file are active the race appears in this ArmorAddon item list and you can allow the race to wear it. It will even show up in the previewer if you mock up a new NPC and add it to their inventory. The problem starts here. Regardless of which file is the active file, after you save and close the files it loses the data, either through being unable to find the referenced race or causing a duplicate ID error when looking up the ARMA in its respective .esp file. The only way around this I have found is to recreate all the various parts for the armor in the race file to allow it to find the race so the armor can be displayed. Minecraft Custom Armor Mod 1.7.10I really hope that isn't the only way around this. Especially considering mods cloaks of skyrim, or the wearable lantern (good god, how am I going to do that?). I am hoping that there is something simple that I just haven't worked out yet to get around this issue. Otherwise, ugh.Comments are closed.
